ULTRASOUND NEEDLE TIP VISUALIZATION

Ultrasound guidance is a standard practice for needle procedures, but needle tip visualization is poor in standard B-mode imaging. Time Delay Imaging, developed by Eastern Sonographics, visualizes a ringdown artifact created by the needle tip. The narrowest part of the ringdown artifact indicates the position of the needle tip.
